Vehicle Description Looking for a 40's hot rod? If you have some mechanical and electric skills, this is for you.
Total invested is over 20K.
But as everyone knows we don't always get that back and I'm just ready for another project.
No BS all items of concern are listed.
To do list:
Get dust cover for clutch fix oil leaks (its a flathead 6 maybe rear main) replace headlight switch or relay (head lights stopped working) get alignment (all new steering & suspension) bleed and adjust brakes adjust carbs and timing needs interior panels and seat covers reverse linkage needs adjustment (I cant find reverse) it has only been driven once in 40 years (last week).
needs another windshield ( I broke it putting it in, oops) Hood needs adjustment and trim missing (I have the bumpers) It drives and runs, but not road worthy yet (items listed above).
New everything ( frame off resto mod), rebuilt flathead 6 with race cam balanced, ported and bored 0.
030 over, front disc brakes, drop spindles, triple carbs, all new glass, new wire harness and paint is decent (a few scratches & one body filler crack).
All new weather stripping included.
So bring a trailer and enjoy your new project.
