ELECTRICIAN
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including:
1) Provide guidance to other electricians on how to install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment supporting industrial operations, computer complexes, or similar complex electrical loads. 2) Train other electricians on planning and laying out routing, placement and arrangement of industrial or similarly complex systems, circuits, controls and equipment in accordance with building plans, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings; and 3) Install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot equipment using 600 volts and below including 120, 208, 240, 277 and 480 volts. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
