CIVIL ENGINEER

This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The Selective Placement Factor is:
You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE:
You must submit a copy of your current license with your application package. In addition to the Selective Placement Factor, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing design analyses and calculations for a wide variety of facility types; 2) Analyzing and designing extensive civil alterations and modifications to existing facilities; 3) Developing complex designs and analyses utilizing advanced civil engineering software (i.e. Whole Building Design Guide and AutoCAD); 4) Performing reviews and checking projects prepared by in-house engineers and architects; and 5) Leading large in-house multi-discipline or civil engineering design projects. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
