Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required:
To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-09). Specialized experience is defined as:
Evaluating aircraft and/or mechanical quality assurance concepts, principles, methods, and practices when analyzing the products or services of a contractor's process. Experience evaluating and inspecting production methods, processes and testing techniques being performed by contractors. Experience performing quality data analysis and evaluation. Experience performing process reviews and product examinations. Education can be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

This position is designated as Emergency-Essential (E-E). In event of a crisis situation, incumbent will be subject to deployment on a TDY basis to overseas duty location(s) to perform assigned duties particular to the deployment. Failure to deploy when required and/or meet the medical requirements of deployment status may result in separation from Federal Service. Selectees will be hired at the GS-11 grade level and will be TEMPORARILY PROMOTED TO THE GS-12 GRADE LEVEL UPON DEPLOYMENT TO AN OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY OPERATIONS LOCATION, subject to meeting applicable Qualification and Time in Grade requirements. Upon completion of the deployment, the employee will be returned to the non-deployed position, at the non-deployed grade level. This announcement serves as competition for the GS-12 temporary promotion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
