FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing maintenance and construction projects in progress and upon completion for compliance with standards and specifications. Experience review and understand a variety of facility-related documents including maintenance/repair contracts, real estate instruments, inter-service support agreements and memorandums of understanding. Experience providing program guidance and oversight, training, perform activity inspections to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations & instructions and investigate mishaps and provide assistance to Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs). Experience using a computer to establish, maintain, and modify correspondence and subject files, and to recall information and create reports from those files. Experience recognizing facility requirements, detecting problems, conveying needs, negotiating action request and time-frames to ensure that needed repairs and replacements are obtained in a timely manner.
