Manufacturing and Automation Engineer

SUMMARY The Manufacturing Engineer supports Automated Manufacturing by translating customer requirements into instructions, tools, programs and operator training.
This position will also translate customer requirements into procedures and processes that result in optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate ability to review the quality yield at each Automated Manufacturing operation Perform detailed root cause analysis as a part of continuous improvement Perform process capability and gauge R&R (repeat-ability and reproduce ability) Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Develop Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) Execute Engineering Change Notices (ECN) Create, communicate and coordinate any Process Deviations (PD) Develop and execute Validation and Verification Protocols for various manufacturing changes or updates as a part of continuous improvement Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service Perform Design For Manufacturability (DFM) assessments Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout Support shop floor people, processes and equipment Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training Assists in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Other duties assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant field plus 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be data driven and detail oriented Ability to communicate succinctly and clearly with customers, colleagues and shop floor Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers, managers, or co-workers of the organization Flexible, able and willing to modify activities and direction with an ever-changing business environment Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic Extensive electronic systems knowledge, analyzing information and reporting research results Ability to troubleshoot electronics equipment problems and perform complex system tests striving for quality Strong working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc) Ability to read and comprehend instructions, technical drawings and manuals, correspondence, and memos Possess a professional attitude and promote the same in others Creative thinking and ability to handle details .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
