Select Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer to supply qualified candidates for an excellent lead opportunity in Everett, WA. This company produces products for the medical, aerospace and gaming industries and is a small to medium size company that can offer stable employment as they continue to grow and develop their business.
Position Title: Production Lead
Pay Range: $12-14/hr, DOE
Schedule: 5:30am-1:00pm Monday-Friday
Summary:
Oversees daily functions by training, setting up, and monitoring of the production line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Coordinates flow of work and materials based on scheduled customer orders, established priorities of availability/capability of workers, parts, materials and equipment.
Provides the necessary tools and documentation for individuals to perform their jobs.
Develops an atmosphere that encourages employee participation.
Motivate employees in preserving an efficient and productive workplace.
Introduce new methods/techniques to improve quality and/efficiency.
Interfaces with all levels of Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance staff.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Implements continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
Communicates directly with Supervisor on any conflicts with capacity availability, scheduled workload or part/material issues.
Set up of tooling and fixtures.
LEAD
Responsibilities:
Provides ongoing training to applicable staff to develop and encourage their technical and operational performance.
Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Production department functions.
Displays effective leadership.
ADDITIONAL
Responsibilities:
Other duties as required in support of the department and company.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and/or college related courses.
Ability to manage company personnel policies and procedures consistently.
Ability to communicate effectively showing excellent written and verbal communication skills with a diverse group of people.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Assembly Level 3 qualified.
