Volt Workforce Solutions (Northwest Engineering) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for one of our aerospace clients located in Everett, Washington. The company is a world leader in aerospace equipment and systems for commercial, regional and business aircraft, as well as helicopters and space applications.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role you will be recognized as a Technical Leader and resource. Will oversee the work of 1- 30 Engineers during the absence of the Director of Engineering. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization''s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; participation in performance reviews. Support all aspects of engineering activities within the Engineering department. Provide consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical projects.
Customer technical contact point and key participant in the Program Management team.
Develop cost calculations for new projects.
Develop proposal drawings and technical proposals.
Support production process (ECR, improvement requests).
Support QA process (corrective and preventive actions).

Job Requirements
Engineering Project Manager Qualifications:
Demonstrates the highest ethical standards.
Works well within the team environment.
Excellent technical knowledge about Boeing airworthiness regulations and technical specifications.
Good technical knowledge about industry standard drafting practices.
Excellent technical knowledge about industry standard CAD software, especially ME10, AutoCAD & Solid Works.
Good leadership skills. Excellent project management skills.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with customers and other co-workers.
The ideal candidate: required to possess a BSME, BSEE or BSAE or equivalent with five to ten years experience in the aircraft galley or related interiors industry or equivalent and must have the ability to work on the computer.
Must be able to read and analyze reports and drawings.
