Communications Company is seeking a talented individual to develop web applications using the Microsoft stack of technologies. In this position they will participate in the design, creation and maintenance of applications used in multiple organizations within the company. Much of the work involves end to end development and will require a level of capability across all application layers. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for using technology to improve business operations in a rapid development environment.
MUST HAVE: 1) ASP.Net MVC, 2) .NET Web Services, 3) SQL Must work onsite. No travel required.
Responsibilities: ? Enhance and maintain existing small to medium size business applications. ? Enhance and maintain existing reporting data and applications. ? Design and build new web applications and services. ? Analyze, refine, and transform data into usable formats for application creation, migration, and reporting ? Work with the end users to gain understanding of requirements or modifications of existing functionality. ? Work with end users to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. ? Maintain information confidentiality and securely with data being processed, stored, or accessed ? Create and maintain technical scope, design, requirement, middle-tier, and API reference documents ? Provide technical training and support to other departments for various applications ? Occasionally maintain aspects of hardware / software infrastructure to support test and development environments.
General Requirements: ? Requires a bachelor's degree in a related subject matter or a minimum of 5+ years of direct professional experience in a software development role ? Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported ? Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. ? Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications. ? Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications. ? Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. ? Ability to quickly learn and support new systems and applications. ? Requires strong interpersonal skills to interact with users and customers. ? Ability to manage projects, this includes interaction with internal/external customers ? Troubleshoot technical problems with an application, web service, or related database
Desired Skills: ? Proficient in ASP.Net MVC 3+ ? Proficient in the use and construction of WCF and Web API web services ? Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / jQuery ? Proficient using MS SQL ? Proficient in using an n-tier architecture ? Proficient in writing unit tests. ? Proficient in writing technical documentation Core Software Skills: ? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
