ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Performs incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft or components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer s manuals.
  • Ensures documentation of maintenance performed is completed as required by FAR s, companies Repair Station Manual and customer s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
  • Completes final buy-back of maintenance performed.
  • Performs in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks and rigs.
  • Performs return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337 as authorized by company and airlines.
  • Documents on-the-job training (OJT) and experience for inclusion into training file.
  • Performs audit of company facilities for FAR and safety regulation compliance.
  • Monitors compliance to scrap bin policy.
  • Be available on the floor to provide oversight, guidance and assistance.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation accurately.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to learn airline customer RII requirements.
  • Familiar with inspection tools, aids and devices used in determining tolerances, specifications, and progress.
  • Ability to work a variety of shift schedules and shift hours.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:


  • Components Services

    • Minimum of three (3) years aircraft component maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by Manager s discretion.

  • NDI and previous QC experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
