Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue, or veterinary facility preferred.
The scheduled hours for this position are Fridays and Saturdays, 9:
45pm-5:
45am, and include some holidays.
Compensation is $20 - $22 / hour, depending on experience.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Washing food and water bowls Providing each animal with food and water following approved feeding protocol.
Assuring that kennels are clean and comfortable, walking pets as needed.
Help with washing, drying, and folding of laundry.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Make very detailed observations of animals and inform veterinarians of patient status.
Required
Qualifications:
Should enjoy working with dogs and cats; and be able to handle animals under various circumstances.
Able to read, write, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
Must be punctual, reliable, and responsible.
Excellent attention to detail Sets and maintains exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and care.
Organized and uses time management skills to stay on task to assigned duties.
Dedicated to delivering positive, detail-oriented results.
Must be a self-starter and able to accomplish tasks independently.
