We are a non-denominational Christian ministry that is currently seeking and accepting resumes for Specials staff for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.
We currently have an opening for a P.
E.
Teacher with the option to also teach art or an elementary world language.
No previous teaching in P.
E.
is required, but a love for education and kids is, as well as a willingness to put in the work/prep needed to teach and model each lesson.
Employment for the Specials Teacher begins in late August.
The first day of school is September 6.

We are growing! Immediate opening for Specials Teacher (half day, 12pm-4:
30pm plus planning, Monday-Thursday); P.

This could be a full-time position, if you are interested in teaching an additional specials class, such as elementary music, art or world language.
The P.
E.
Teacher is responsible for teaching P.
E.
to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade as well as one class to middle and high school students (about 20 students).
Elementary P.
E.
is taught in groups of:
Kindergarten 1st Grade 2nd & 3rd Grade 4th and 5th Grade Each group consists of about 20-30 students at a time Each group is taught for 20 minutes, one time per week.
P.
E.
takes place outside.
Students are learning to work as a team, grow, communicate and follow directions as well as be introduced to games and sports.
We want them to love being active.
The middle and high school class has also gone bowling and used fields away from the FCS campus.
Qualifications:
Calling to the teaching profession and passion for educating and raising up children under the Word of God.
Appropriate specialty degree or experience preferred (but not required) Strong written/verbal communication skills Ability to pass required background and/or fingerprinting checks Ability to attend regularly scheduled meetings, and participate in all school activities, open houses and orientations.
Availability and willingness to teach all required days in the school year.
Extra vacations during school days are not permitted and must be taken during school breaks (winter break, spring break, etc.
), in order to make sure students are taught well and receive consistent and reliable instruction.
Willingness to perform all job duties required in a timely manner (to include planning, grading, record keeping, etc.
) and by required due dates.
Ability and willingness to follow all school policies, procedures and protocol.
The ideal teacher candidates will also have:
Experience working with the proposed age group A heart for the ministry An ability to support and guide adults as well as students (parent communication is very important).
