Dwayne Lane's Auto Family is a family and locally owned group serving the community since 1954.
We represent eight OEM brands, with five dealerships in Snohomish and Skagit counties.

The General Manager assumes responsibility and is accountable for customer retention and the profitability of each department in the dealership.
They fulfill this responsibility by using sound business management practices that align with company policies, processes, and procedures while motivating team members with a positive and contagious attitude.
Some essential duties include providing staff management and development for both direct and indirect reports, reviewing performance data to monitor and measure productivity and develop processes to ensure client and employee satisfaction.
Our ideal candidate will display skills in strategic planning, organizing, effective communication, and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
Candidates should also practice sound judgment in a variety of circumstances with the ability to rapidly apply decisions.
Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
Automotive retail General Manager experience or completed NADA GM training.
Strong leadership abilities.
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals set by Dealer.
Proven ability to attract, develop and retain great talent.
Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization and follow-up skills.
Experience and desire to work with technology.
Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
Market Share effectiveness at manufacturer standard.
Customer satisfaction above manufacturer standard.
Roles & Responsibilities Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually.
Coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
Setting goals for the store to achieve targeted performance in all areas of the business.
Monitors the daily operating control (DOC), recommending improved courses of action where necessary.
Increasing business through hands on involvement of day-to-day operations.
Provides Dealer with accurate weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.
Meets monthly with the Controller to review departmental performances for consistency with annual forecast.
Provides enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build positive morale.
Hiring all Management positions.
Communicates the policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and ensures accountability to said policies and procedures.
Focusing on any reputation management affairs department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
Develops and maintains a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
