6K a year 19 hours ago 19 hours ago 19 hours ago Imagine Children's Museum in Everett, WA is looking for a Creative ARTS & CRAFTS Facilitator to join our Team! It is a part-time position which requires flexibility as many of our specialized programs are held on evenings and weekends.
No experience needed but must LOVE Arts and Crafts and working with Children! Position involves:
Working with the public by facilitating the use of the Museum's Art Studio Creating a guest ready atmosphere in the Art Studio, Commons and Construction Studio Interact with guests (children and adults) to encourage the exploration of art concepts and use of various artistic media Assist in preparing scheduled art projects, including Make and Take and special event activities Support the needs of guest artists who visit the Museum Maintain a clean and safe environment in the Museum this will include basic cleaning and maintenance outside the Art Studio during the day
Qualifications:
A friendly and outgoing personality is a must someone that loves being around active children and families Good communication skills Ability to work with children and adults in a sometimes extremely fast-paced environment Ability to direct volunteers when needed Possess initiative and the ability to self-direct not requiring continuous supervision Ability to go with the flow in the midst of changing conditions throughout the work day Available shifts and compensation:
We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation depends on your experience.
