We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the Propeller Airports team.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and managing employee relations.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's workforce by implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and talented team.
This position will contribute significantly to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection processes.
Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract skilled candidates across various roles within the aviation community.
Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of positions.
Create, implement, and evaluate all HR policies, procedures, and training plans.
Perform employee performance reviews.
Build knowledge of HR technical/professional area best practices and their unique application to the company Responsible for all onboarding of new employees Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, providing fair and timely resolutions in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development opportunities.
Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into Propeller Airports culture and operations.
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and industry trends to ensure the Propeller Airport's HR practices remain current and compliant.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Assist employees with benefit inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or HR certification (e.
g.
, SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in human resources roles, preferably within the aviation industry or a similarly dynamic environment.
Sound knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality, build rapport, and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing airport environment.
